未来のヘルスケア体験を通して
遺伝子の不思議に触れる
大阪・関西万博FLEにて
個別化医療をテーマにした展示を実施
株式会社テンクーは、2025年日本国際博覧会(以下、「大阪・関西万博」)にて開催されている「フューチャーライフエクスペリエンス(以下、「FLE」)」において、未来のヘルスケアを提案する期間展示を7/15(火) - 7/21(月)に行います。
本展示では、「遺伝子からわかることってなに？一人ひとりに合わせる未来の医療を知ろう」をテーマに、来場者と共に体験しながら、遺伝子の不思議や最新の遺伝子検査技術を学び、未来のヘルスケア「個別化医療」を身近に感じられるような展示を計画しています。
FLEは、『未来社会ショーケース事業』「フューチャーライフ万博」において、未来の暮らしを多様な主体が体験・提案し、対話を通じて未来社会を共創する場です。展示では、対話や体験を通じた「共創の場」を重視し、来場者が未来のヘルスケアを体験し、自ら考える参加型コンテンツを予定しています。
展示の背景¶
日本国内も含めた全世界では、プレシジョンメディシンへの機運が高まっています。プレシジョンメディシンとは、従来の医療のように疾患ごとに一律 の治療をするのではなく、一人ひとりの遺伝子、環境、ライフスタイルに合わせて治療や予防をする個別化医療のことです。
個別化医療の一環として、疾患を調べるための遺伝子検査があります。個人の遺伝子情報を読み取ることにより、その方に合った最適な治療を選択したり、予防につなげることを期待されています。
遺伝子検査は普及に課題があり、まだまだ社会に浸透していません。そのため、遺伝子検査を受けることによってすぐに疾患名がつくはずの患者さんがいつまでも確定診断がつかず孤立したり、がん患者さんがその方に合った治療方針を十分に検討できないという社会課題も発生しています。
そこで、個別化医療の可能性やその重要性などを、子供から高齢者まで、今回の体験型の展示を通じて知ってもらうことを目的としています。

Introduction¶
Xcoo, Inc. will showcase an interactive exhibit on future healthcare systems from Jul 15, 2025 (Tue) – Jul 21, 2025 (Mon) in the "Future Life Experience (FLE)" section at the EXPO 2025 Osaka Exposition.
The theme is on, "what can we infer from genetic information? Let's create a future catered for each person" and we hope that the exhibit can help familiarize personalized medicine to the visitors by learning what our genes can tell us about ourselves and the cutting-edge technologies to help decode our genes.
FLE is a part of "showcasing the future of society," and "Future Life Expo" which is intended to provide an insight into our future lives. Thus, our exhibit serves as a collaborative space that upholds experiences and communication so that each participant can evoke their own conclusion on the future of healthcare.
Background¶
Precision medicine has been an international topic of interest, including Japan. Unlike traditional healthcare, precision medicine is designed for personalized care and is tailored specifically for a person's lifestyle, environmental factors, and genetic predispositions.
One of the requirements for personalized medicine is that the patient undergoes genetic testing. From the information obtained from the test, healthcare providers can suggest the optimal treatment and prevention plan.
However, genetic testing has yet to become a common practice. This has prevented patients from receiving a quicker diagnosis if they had undergone testing. Furthermore, even with testing, lack of understanding of what the genetic information represents often leaves patients excluded from the treatment process.
To combat these issues, we hope to share the possibilities and importance of personalized medicine to the youth and elderly through our interactive experience.
